Avenue Road in Astwood Bank. It is expected to be closed for up to seven days
A DEEP sinkhole has opened up in a road in Astwood Bank.
The large hole, in Avenue Road, appeared over the weekend prompting residents to report it.
A spokesman from Worcestershire County Council Highways said it was 6ft deep, but could be bigger.
The road is expected to be shut for up to seven days while repairs and an exploration of the sewers below the hole are carried out.
