SAINT Augustine’s Catholic High School has been shortlisted as a finalist in the “Secondary School of the Year” category of the Worcestershire Education Awards 2019.

Its outstanding Progress 8 score of +1.21 in 2018, makes it the highest achieving school in the Midlands and the best performing Catholic school outside London; it proudly ranks at 18th out of 6,485 schools within the UK.

In February 2019, it was awarded “Outstanding” in its Diocesan Section 48 inspection which is a register of the quality of, not only RE within the classroom, but also within Catholic Life in the wider community.

This year will be the third year for the Worcestershire Education Awards, a celebration of excellence in the education fields across the county.

Sister paper The Worcester News has once again teamed up with The University of Worcester to run the awards scheme which recognises and celebrates the hard work, passion, quality and dedication in educational establishments in Worcestershire.
