A FULL list of companies and training organisations taking part in MP Rachel Maclean's forthcoming jobs fair has been announced.
The Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair, which takes place in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre on Friday, May 17, will see 23 organisations on hand to offer advice on careers, training and volunteering.
Some of those taking part include Aspiration Training, Bromsgrove and Redditch Network, Jobcentre Plus Redditch, McDonald’s, Pertemps, Primrose Hospice, and West Mercia Police.
Rachel said: “As the build-up continues to my first ever Jobs & Apprenticeships Fair I’m getting very excited to meet with the exhibitors and potential job seekers.
"I see it as one of my key responsibilities to help local people secure employment, as well as to help businesses and organisations secure the staff they need.
“Because businesses are expanding, there are plenty of employment opportunities out there, and the idea of the fair is to bring as many of them as possible under one roof, making it easier for job hunters to look and compare what's on offer.”
The fair will give organisations the chance to market job opportunities they may have, either now or envisaged in the future.
There will also be representation from training and apprenticeship organisations, as well as Jobcentre Plus, there on the day.
The event will take place in Milward Square in the Kingfisher Centre (by The Range) from 10am to 3pm.
