BRITAIN’S Got Talent semi-finalists The Jive Aces have been unveiled as part of the line-up for this summer’s jive and swing festival Swingtime in the Gardens, at Ragley Hall.

The six-piece swing band will be on the bill alongside West End star Cassidy Janson and pin-up touring band The Satin Dollz.

More than a dozen vocalists and bands have been confirmed for the special one-day event, on Saturday, June 15.

Other acts confirmed include The Swing Commanders, The Bevin Boys, Midland Youth Jazz Orchestra, Gabrielle Ducomble, Down for the Count, The Ding Dong Daddios, SwingDance UK, Miss Amy Baker, GI Jive, Antonio Socci, Chico White, The Magic of Miller and Miss Beth Belle.

As well as the fabulous music on offer, vintage fans will be in their element among a marketplace of stalls selling clothing, accessories, homeware and music memorabilia.

Adding to a great day out for all the family, there will be swing dance workshops, a range of food and drink stalls and fairground rides.

Event organiser Antonio Socci is the brains behind Swingtime and said the idea was born out of his own passion for the subject.

“I have always had a personal affiliation with swing and jive music and I am always looking for new ways to get more people involved in the vibrant genre,” he said.

“When I established Swingtime in the Gardens six years ago, I wanted to create a festival that people of all ages can enjoy.

"Thanks to the fantastic acts we have in store, and non-stop entertainment throughout the day, it’s certainly going to be an event to remember."

And thanks to early bird tickets on sale now, festival-goers who snap them up before March 17 can enjoy £25 per person or £66 for a family.
