REDDITCH tenants are set to titivate their tastebuds as part of a series of events held as part of Nutrition and Hydration Week.

The week-long programme of activities at St David’s House include experiencing a Mediterranean diet, fruit and smoothie tasting and creating a memory board.

A global tea party will also be held on the Wednesday, March 13 which includes afternoon tea for tenants, carers and members of the community.

Organised by Redditch Borough Council’s St David’s House Team the national event demonstrates their commitment to health care.

The Council’s portfolio-holder, who covers health and activity, Cllr Gareth Prosser, said: “As well as finding out about, and experimenting with, the foods which are really good for us, this week is about bringing people together.

“The highlight is the global tea party which is the perfect opportunity to enjoy excellent food, friends, and of course a cuppa!”
