MADAM - I have recently received correspondence of changes to plans regarding the Eastern Gateway.

On closer inspection, there is a lot to be fearful of, namely; building height off Far Moor Lane is set at 21 metres and more units than the Gorcott Hill site, where buildings are set at 16.5 metres and a lot less buildings.

Also the introduction of a signalised junction (traffic lights), off A4023, whereby motorists will have to stop abruptly causing bottlenecks and possible accidents.

Photo view of finished buildings off Far Moor Lane, show it impossible to screen this monstrosity. Veteran trees are to be cut down, does profit out weigh environmental impact?

The plans are vague and lacking a lot of information, how can anyone make any sense of it all? The residents will suffer air, noise, light and traffic pollution, as well as increased footfall and possible increase in crime.

It is a beautiful area, just leave it alone.

This affects the whole of Redditch and surrounding areas as traffic will increase not only here but its consequences will be felt far and wide.
