A SPECIAL recruitment event will take place at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for anyone interested in working in Worcestershire’s hospitals as a nurse or healthcare assistant.

The event will showcase the opportunities on offer in Worcestershire’s three acute hospitals – in Kidderminster, Redditch and Worcester – and will give potential recruits a chance to speak to current staff, and find out about training and development opportunities.

The event will be held between 10am and 2pm in the Education Centre, upstairs at the Alex Hospital in Redditch.

Kate Knight, professional development lead at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “We take great pride in continually developing and training our staff.

"If you're already a nurse, then we can help you develop your career with our band 5 development programme, preceptorship course or with continual training days and leadership development opportunities.

“If you're currently unqualified or are a healthcare assistant, we can offer extended clinical skills training, as well as opportunities to progress as a nurse associate or even earning while you learn with a nursing apprenticeship.

"Whatever your current role or experience, we can help you develop and build your career in healthcare.”
