HOST families in Bromsgrove and Redditch are needed for visiting French students.

Students are visiting the area for the third year running in Spring and local families are being asked to come forward to accommodate them.

Celine Dommart said: "Families get paid for their hosting so it's a great way for a British family to share their traditions as well as making extra income for the use of their spare rooms."

Host responsibilities include fetching and returning the students to a local meeting point (the Abbey Stadium), and provide accommodation for the students which includes breakfast and dinner as well as a packed lunch.

The students are out all day on daily excursions from early until late.

Celine added: "It is a great show of unity to have this sort of scheme taking place at a time of political uncertainty like the one we are going through.

"I feel very passionate about strengthening the links between the UK and the continent.

"People in the Redditch area have been extremely welcoming to the idea and to the students themselves, so it would be great to be able to reach more of those and make them aware of this opportunity."
