REDDITCH Borough have booked their place in the Les James Cup semi-finals after eclipsing Continental Star by a slender 1-0 margin.
Khurim Iqbal bagged the only goal after missing a penalty just six minutes earlier.
Borough boss Julian workman said: "The win was much easier than the score suggests. We controlled the game and our goalkeeper didn't have a single shot to save."
Borough will now face either Coventry Alvis or Inkberrow for a place in the final.
This Saturday Borough host Coton Green at The Mettis in a Total Motion Midland League Division Two match
Redditch Borough Ladies reeled off a 1-0 win over Wednesfield to remain third in the Birmingham County FA Premier Division thanks to a single strike from Dani Pinfold.
It means the Borough girls have now rattled off six straight wins to leave them just three points adrift of league leaders Starland St Annes from Walsall.
Borough Ladies have no fixture this week.
