THE Cancer Research UK 10k run planned at Ragley Hall this weekend has had to be moved due to concern over foot and mouth disease.

The event, taking place on Sunday, September 23, had to be relocated after estate managers at Ragley Hall were advised by the National Farmers Union not to allow runners access to fields through the estate due to the risks of spreading the disease.

An alternative venue has been offered at the 11th hour, meaning the event can go ahead on the same Sunday at the Shakespeare County Raceway at Long Marston.
