A TRADITIONAL yet fun-filled musical will be coming to the Swan Theatre in Worcester.
The Gondoliers is about an impoverished Duke and Duchess of Plaza-Toro who go to Venice in search of the heir to the throne of Barataria, inconveniently mislaid at birth and betrothed to their daughter.
The most likely candidates are two handsome gondoliers, more interested in parties than politics and who have both just got married.
It takes the help of a nursemaid to unravel the knots in this particularly twisty tale.
With a principal cast of many award-winning vocalists and a very strong chorus, this musical promises a good time for all.
It runs from Tuesday, October 2 to Saturday, October 6.
