PRIMROSE Hospice is appealing to local businesses, community groups, clubs and schools to raffle festive food hampers to raise funds for the charity.

Participants will be given cards, with squares to be sold for a chance to win a hamper filled with Prosecco, Joe & Sephs Gourmet Popcorn, buttermilk gingerbread fudge, Amarettini Classic Italian biscuits, chocolate and more.

Amy Flemming, fundraiser at Primrose Hospice, said: “Raffling a Christmas hamper is a great way of giving staff and customers a chance to win some indulgent goodies.

“Those taking part are given a card containing 100 squares, each square is sold for a £1.

“When all 100 squares are sold a number is drawn at random and the lucky winner gets the luxury Christmas hamper.

“The hamper campaign is very popular every year and raises £10,000 for Primrose.”

Smaller organisations can also take part in the raffle by using a hamper card with 50 squares priced at £2 each.

The hamper can also be purchased outright to be raffled for staff at no extra cost.

The money raised from the Christmas Hamper campaign will support patients and families living with life-limiting illnesses, and enable the hospice to continue providing its services for free.
