IT will be a dry and clear start to the night across north Worcestershire and the Black Country, allowing temperatures to drop quickly to around 3°C.

Patchy mist and fog will form later in the night but any frost will be confined to rural areas.

Looking ahead to the weekend, mist will clear early on Saturday, leaving a mostly dry day with plenty of sunshine.

The afternoon will be warmer than today, with temperatures reaching 17°C.

Sunday will be rather cloudy with some drizzle at times. Early frost will form on Monday and Tuesday, turning cooler later in the week.
