REDDITCH residents are being urged to get online with help and support from Redditch Borough Council.

The council is holding two events as part of national Get Online Week to show wannabe surfers how to make the most of the internet.

Councillr Tom Baker Price said: “More and more services are available online but it can seem quite daunting if you haven’t had much experience.

“We want to show people how easy it is to pay a bill online or get information about services and benefits, 24/7.”

National Get Online Week runs all this week.

Officers will be on hand at Redditch Town Hall later this morning to help people to get online.

On Friday they will be in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

Both events run from 10am until 4pm.
