MALVERN were unable to contain Bromsgrove in the final 20 minutes at Spring Lane as the visitors' pace, power and precision proved to be the difference in a 43-10 loss.
The hosts held their own against their high-flying opponents for an hour of this Midlands One West contest.
A Jack Longley try, converted by Adam Dixon, was cancelled by scores from Ed Spalding and Drew Harper as Bromsgrove led 12-7 at half-time.
Both sides then swapped penalties with Dixon on target for Malvern to make the score 15-10 before Bromsgrove took charge.
Second row James Martin went over following a pick-up and drive before Harper struck for his second score after breaking from the back of a scrum.
Scrum-half Will Harris then added a fifth try before openside flanker Hugh Lockhart made it six. The accurate Harris converting all of the second-half tries.
Upton slumped to their fourth successive loss in Midlands Three West (South) as they went down 38-22 at Old Yardleians.
Bromyard gained a losing bonus point from a 27-24 defeat at Burbage in Midlands Four West (South).
