A FAMILY owned Redditch business has spearheaded a charity fundraising event, raising more than £4,200 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
A coffee and cake morning was held by Sign Specialists, with support from other local businesses, on Friday, September 28.
Visitors bought bacon butties, cakes, sweet treats, coffee and raffle tickets.
Generously donated giveaways included a UK holiday for six, a weekend break for two, a catered dinner party, plus lots more.
Director and organiser, Denise Tisdale, said: “Most of us have been affected by cancer in some way and we wanted, as a business and a local community, to show our support for the hard work Macmillan Cancer Support do.
"Thanks to everyone who donated their time, effort, money and cake. We’re thrilled to have raised a substantial amount of money, all of which will be passed on to the charity."
