A WOMAN from Redditch suffered minor injuries to her left thigh after being bitten by a dog in Redditch.

The 53-year-old was walking on Yvonne Road towards Campten and Chandlers Road in Redditch when it happened on September 12 around 3pm.

Police are investigating the incident and want to speak to the owner of the black labrador.

The owner is described as a woman in her 30s, around 5ft 6inches tall, of a large build with light brown shoulder length hair.

Redditch Police Officer Martyn Dudley, said: "We're keen to hear from anyone who can help us to identify the owner of the dog.

"We're hoping that someone may recognise the description and be able to help us with our enquiries."
