HRH The Princess Royal will be at the official opening of a ground-breaking new housing development in Wootton Wawen.
A total of 14 affordable homes have been built in Wootton Wawen to the rigorous Passivhaus standard to enable residents to reduce their carbon footprint as well as keeping their energy bills low.
The innovative development has just been shortlisted in the Best Green Scheme category of the 24housing Awards 2018 which celebrate excellence across the housing sector.
The development has been completed by Warwickshire Rural Housing Association, with Bouygues UK and Waterloo Housing.
The Princess Royal will be visiting on the morning of September 25 to meet the partners involved in this community-led development and members of the local community, as well as some of the new residents who have recently moved in to their ultra-low energy homes.
