A RIDE out is being organised to raise cash for a cancer charity.

The ride out, organised by Redditch Charity Bikers, will be raising money for Fight Bladder Cancer which supports people affected by bladder cancer and helps to raise awareness of the disease.

The event is on Saturday, June 30 and starts at the South Redditch Sports and Leisure Centre on Throckmorton Road, Greenlands.

Bikers taking part are being ask to meet from 10.30am, before leaving at noon for a ride out to Bourton On The Water.

There will be a quick stop then a ride back to Redditch.

On the return there will be a burger van, ice cream van, bouncy castles, and stalls selling crafts and arts and jewellery at the leisure centre

There will also be live bands and DJ for the evening entertainment and a raffle.

Allen Morris, from Redditch Charity Bikers, said: "We are organising the event after my mom was diagnosed in 2016. She had her bladder removed and is now making a good recovery.

"The event is not just for bikers, but for families as well. Please come along and enjoy the fun."
