ALCESTER'S Purity Brewing Company is opening up its tap room and car park for cyclists looking to enjoy countryside rides.

Following in the tracks of its inaugural sportive in May, the award-winning brewery is launching the Mad Goose Chase, which will see Purity play host to cyclists looking for a meeting point ahead of a ride, a pit stop, or to rest, chat and enjoy a drink in the summer sunshine afterwards.

Taking place on Wednesday, June 13, from 6.30pm until 9pm, Purity will be providing the car parking, the stunning setting and the refreshments for riders of all abilities, who can simply set off at their own speeds and distances, and then share a story or two in the brewery courtyard and bar area.

The brewery is also launching Park and Ride for cyclists at any time of day, Monday to Saturday.

Purity managing director Paul Halsey said: “Purity was founded on a bike ride and we all love to take advantage of the beautiful hills and fields around the brewery, as do many local people who know about this special setting.

"We want to encourage even more people to ride, and to come together and share their training tips and cycling stories, so come and use our car park, get a few miles in and then we’ll have our doors open for a well-earned rest late into the evening.”
