REDDITCH shoppers can escape from it all this month thanks to the arrival of some state of the art control panel games.

Escape Rooms are set to be installed at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre from mid-June and are expected to remain there for three months.

They provide challenges for both individuals and teams who must try to solve puzzles and crack codes to escape from the rooms.

Ken Williams, general manager at the Kingfisher, said: "We're very excited to host Redditch's first ever escape experience.

"We're really looking forward to adding another family centred activity to bring families and friends together for something unique and mentally challenging which people won't have experienced together before."

Escape hunters are given an hour to complete either a space or tomb themed challenge.

Trials can be randomly selected from the activity's high-tech control panel, which means challengers can revisit several times and discover a different outcome on each occasion.
