POLICE are appealing for information following an arson attack in Alcester.

The fire, at a house in Hertford Road in Alcester, was started in a private storage area containing wheelie bins and garden equipment.

The area was next to the house causing damage to a UPVC door.

A neighbour raised the alarm with the occupants who were able to leave the premises unharmed.

A police spokesman said it is currently being treated as arson and enquiries are ongoing.

They said: "Anyone who has information about the fire is asked to call 101 quoting incident 373 of 11 May 2018."

The fire started around 8pm on Friday, May 11.
