THE county's new theatre and writing showcase will be coming to the Palace Theatre in Redditch later this month.
Jump Start is an initiative run by Worcestershire Arts Partnership, supported by Worcestershire County Council, to provide opportunities for new theatre work to be performed.
Jump Start has so far showcased over 35 new plays and performances by theatre makers in the county and wider region.
After previous performance evenings at the Malvern Cube, Jump Start now comes to the Studio Theatre at the Palace.
Project co-ordinator Steve Wilson said: "We are really delighted to be taking Jump Start to the Palace and to work with the team there."
For the Palace show there are five plays being performed, including a play about modern day feminism, a black comedy about the death of a cat, and a play about having teenage health problems.
After the performances there will be an opportunity to meet the writers through a Q&A session.
The event is free with a recommended donation of £5.
