A REDDITCH hotel has made it to the finals of the prestigious UK Wedding Awards.

The Old Rectory House & The Orangery, a privately owned Elizabethan and Georgian house built in 1812 in Ipsley, has been shortlisted in the Historic Venue category.

The hotel offers the choice of three settings which can accommodate small and intimate celebrations or larger occasions of up to 150 guests.

There are beautiful views of our landscaped country gardens from The Orangery, or The Lavender Barn features traditional oak beams and full-length windows that look out over pretty patio gardens.

Lisa Flattery, marketing manager at the Old Rectory House, said: "We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the award; it’s our first of its kind and to win the award would be a massive achievement for our business."

Winners of the UK Wedding Awards will be announced later this year.
