OVER the next few weeks thousands of kind-hearted volunteers will be walking the streets bringing Santa to as many people as possible.

Santa Claus is taking to the streets of Redditch in the lead up to Christmas Day, as part of Redditch Round Table’s fundraising efforts.

Santa will be touring the area in his sleigh with the Redditch Round Table snowmen and their helpers, delivering festive cheer and collecting money for good causes.

A spokesman said: "All these volunteers work for free, in their own time, for no other reason than to spread joy and raise money for local causes.

"Last night we tracked our route for Santa collections around Brockhill and Batchley, the route ended up looking rather like Rudolph - completely by chance.

"So far this is our most favourite street map route."
