AN American academic will visit Great Alne to give a talk on the wife of a 19th century parson's wife and her family, who lived in Kinwarton.
Kelly McDonald will be giving the talk entitled Becoming Fanny Seymour at Great Alne Memorial Hall on Friday, July 13 at 8pm.
The talk will look at Francis (Fanny) Seymour, who was born in 1803, and her marriage to the Rev Richard Seymour, who had been installed as the Rector of Kinwarton and Great Alne.
Tickets cost £2 and are available at Alcester Library with further information available from Alan Godfrey on 01789 765385.
