REDDITCH youngsters will be more than excited to go to the shops following the opening of family entertainment centre 360 Play at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.

The centre held an official opening on Thursday, March 2 where Redditch Mayor and councillor Joe Baker officially cut the tape alongside founder and managing director Duncan Phillips.

The centre opened to the general public on Saturday, March 4.

Cllr Baker said: "It was a fun filled opening at the Kingfisher when opened the new children's play area 360.

"This is a fantastic venue. I was shocked to see the how big this centre is,” he said.

"It’s a bit of a Tardis effect. I was very impressed to see the different activities the children as well as parents could get involved from dressing up as firefighters to bumper cars.

"The founder Duncan Philip informed me that his ethos was to encourage engagement with parent and children without using iPad and mobile phones and play together and have fun."
