RESIDENTS at a Redditch care home are getting ready for a "fiendishly fantastic" Halloween.
And staff at Brambles Residential Care Home are already trying on their costumes for size.
The spooky goings on next Monday, October 31 will include fancy dress, face-painting, themed games and home-made decorations.
The home, run by Sanctuary Care, will be laying on pumpkin carving, themed cup cakes and choosing the best dressed witch.
Brambles' activities leader Fiona Mosly said: “Our residents love Halloween - they find it funny when we dress up as it is something quite modern that they didn’t do.
"Many of our residents have fond memories celebrating Halloween with their children and grandchildren but not when they were young - so it's fantastic that we are beinging the celebrations to their generation."
Anne Yearby, 88-year-old resident added: “The costumes are absolutely fabulous – seeing all the decorations and accessories are getting me so excited for our party on Monday!”
Fellow resident Sheila Stenford, who is also 88, said: "I love it, Halloween isn’t scary – it’s very nice."
