THERE are now 746 more people who can help save a life, thanks to a vital event at Redditch's Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
Organised by the Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation and the Ambulance service, the event, held earlier this week, was part of European “Restart a Heart” Day which aims to take the fear out of CPR
A spokesman from the Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation said: "The day was a mission to teach as many people as possible how to perform CPR to help save lives."
Redditch Mayor and Councillor Joe Baker said the day was a huge success.
"It is so important to learn how to restart a heart after it stops," he said.
"These vital minutes can mean life and death. I am so proud to support Rob and Maggie from the Charlotte and Craig Saving Hearts Foundation on their mission to raise awareness."
