KINDHEARTED residents with learning disabilities, who attended a Studley based day service, will be raising their cups to raise cash when they take part in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning later this month.
Those attending Pathway – a day activity service run by Heart of England Mencap – are hosting a special coffee morning on Friday September, 30 to be part of the annual fundraiser and collect cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Their event will take place at Studley Methodist Church between 11am and 1pm, any everyone is invited to attend.
Cath Errington, fundraiser manager for Heart of England Mencap, said: "As a small local charity supporting people with learning disabilities across Warwickshire and Worcestershire, our customers are used to the idea of fundraising for us – and really appreciate the fundraising the community does to support our work.
"This is their way of giving something back, holding an event to raise money for another charity close to many people’s hearts."
