HEALTH bosses are encouraging people to plan ahead this bank holiday and pick up any repeat prescriptions early to make sure they have enough to see them through the weekend.
Anyone taking regular medication is being urged to make sure that they have ordered their prescriptions in advance of the bank holiday so they aren’t at risk of running out.
There will be changes to opening times for some local healthcare services over the bank holiday weekend, including some closures on Monday, August 29.
However, there will always be somewhere to go for medical treatment and advice.
Many minor complaints can be treated by staying at home, getting plenty of rest and making sure you have a well-stocked medicine cabinet.
