A REDDITCH-based building firm has created eight jobs following a demerger from its larger group.
Buildland Limited, in Oxleasow Road, aided by a £1.45million lending deal with Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking, recently successfully completed the separation deal and will now operate as an independent company.
As part of the demerger activity, Buildland has set up its own sales and credit account teams, helping to grow its total headcount to 36, while the firm has also extended the range of products it offers.
Rube Jutla, managing director of Buildland, said: "Our focus now is on extending our reach through our investment in sales and marketing, as well as extending our product line as we look to continue to build on our market share and embark on the next phase of our growth plans."
Buildland, which has branches in Redditch and Coventry, was founded in 2003, and is now one of the UK leading suppliers of building and landscape materials. It offers a wide range of quality materials and products, specialising in landscaping, building, insulation, bricks and blocks.
