THERE are some picturesque cricket grounds in south Worcestershire but is this the best view?
The Lenches club are celebrating after topping the Cotswold Hills League's ratings for best ground and pitch in their eight divisions, according to statistics on the competition's website.
Their base at Ab Lench Road, Church Lench, near Evesham, is looked after by Alan White with assistance from Danny Johnson.
The Division Two club's Charlie Brooks said: "Al is a seriously good cricketer and very accomplished in grass surfaces management.
"We are very proud of our ground, which we believe has one of the best views in Worcestershire.
"Now we have been endorsed by the league for not only the ground but also our pitch performance and our facilities."
They are up against some serious competition in the league with clubs from Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire, including parts of the Cotswolds.
