PARALYMPIC Bronze Medalist Katrina Hart has visited pupils at her old school to inspire and encourage them to achieve their goals in life.
Katrina, who won a bronze medal at the 2012 London Paralympic Games as part of the women's relay team, led an afternoon of circuit activities and shared her story and achievements at Inkberrow First School.
During the visit she talked about her bronze medal and led a whole school drill session.
Youngsters from the school asked her questions about her career and her plans for next year at the Paralympics in Rio.
Headteacher Heather Thomson said: "Katrina started her schooling at Inkberrow First School and has always had a great love of sports.
"She spoke openly to the children about her disabilities and how nothing has held her back from achieving her dreams in life.
"She spoke about being determined and focused, which are two of the school’s five good learning characteristics, and how this has helped in her journey to success."
The visit was organised through Sports for Schools, which helps organise athletes visits to school.
