A PRIMARY school near Alcester is set to mark its 50th anniversary by holding a week of activities.
Pupils at Great Alne Primary School will be getting in the party spirit by learning about each of the last five decades.
The celebration will end with a summer fair on Saturday, June 20 from 4pm to 7pm where members of community and former pupils are welcome come along and to take part in producing a community mosaic of the school logo.
There will also be various activities put on including a bouncy castle, a barbecue, and stalls.
Staff and pupils at the school would be interested in any photographs or memories from the last 50 years, particularly those from the 60s and 70s, and invites anyone who would like to share them to get in contact the school on 01789 488247.
