TWO flying enthusiasts from Alcester took part in the Helicopter Challenge Cup Heli UK Expo 2015.
Stuart Rimmer, from Beoley Mill Software in Studley and Adrian Clarke, a self employed builder based in Alcester, came third in the contest which was held over the weekend in Sywell Aerodrome, Northamptonshire.
The pair have flown together since 2008 and previously placed as the highest British crew at the first Helicopter Challenge Cup.
They are now set to compete in the 15th FAI World Helicopter Championships held in Poland during August followed by the Dubai Air Games in December.
The duo, which flies just for fun, competed against the finest commercial pilots for a top place in the contest.
The event is run in partnership with the Helicopter Club of Great Britain.
