THIS weekend will mark the quarter century anniversary of the annual Alcester Garden Walkabout.
The event sees 20 beautiful gardens around Alcester open to the public and usually raises several thousand pounds in aid of Cancer Research UK.
There will also be an array of plants for sale, as well as teas, refreshments and ice-creams.
The walkabout is running from noon to 5pm on Sunday, June 7, and tickets are £5 from Church Street in Alcester on the day.
Over the years the event has raised more than £40,000 for the charity.
