THE names Shaz, Lil May, Romer and Dink could help police trace vandals who have daubed graffiti on houses and underpasses throughout Woodrow South over the last week.
The houses targeted are mainly end terraces which have a side wall.
Community Support Officer Liam McEvilly said: "We're appealing for witnesses to contact us any time they see young people carrying out graffiti so we can catch them in the act.
"Graffiti is not only unsightly but it gives an area a general look of neglect and adds to the fear of crime, impacting on the lives of residents.
"We're working closely with Redditch Council to deal with the problem but it has only a limited amount of funds to spend on cleaning it up."
CSO McEvilly added evidence of distinctive signatures or tags could be used to identify the offenders and police would be comparing the tags and names with databases and making inquiries at schools and youth groups.
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to call police on 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
