THE snowdrops are looking their best and Hellebores are hot on their heels, so what’s not to like about getting out in the crisp winter air and enjoying a local garden?
Red House Farm, in Flying Horse Lane in Bradley Green, near Redditch, is an early garden opening for charity under the National Gardens Scheme.
Created as a peaceful haven from its working farm environment, this mature half acre country garden offers year round interest.
In densely planted borders accessed by winding paths a wide range of traditional favourites rub shoulders with the newest of introductions.
The garden is open the first Thursday of every month starting April 2, from 12noon to 5pm.
