A FUNNY, moving and bittersweet play about unemployment, uncertain futures and unreliable ovens will be coming to Redditch's Palace Theatre.
Half-Baked, presented by Youth Theatre Makers, sees local bakery Renée’s bought out by Starbucks, forcing six teenagers to prepare for life beyond the walls of their beloved workplace.
Iced buns, Eccles cakes and ham sandwiches are replaced by university applications, rejection letters and train tickets to London.
The show, free to under 18s while those over 21 get a free drink at the bar, is on Thursday, March 5 starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available in person or at the box office on 01527 65203 priced £6.75 (£5.75 under 26) inclusive of booking fee 75p per ticket up to a maximum £3.
