MUSIC fans who turned up to a record shop's first birthday couldn't believe their luck when English folk/punk singer-songwriter Frank Turner, who has headlined Wembley Arena, stepped on stage.
The musician, initially the vocalist of post-hardcore band Million Dead before embarking on a primarily acoustic-based solo career following the band's split in 2005, appeared at Death or Glory Record's first birthday bash, held on Saturday.
Since going solo the musician has built up a loyal following playing to large audiences in major arenas, including Wembley, around the world.
While at the store, in Church Green, Frank chatted to people and had a number photographs taken.
Speaking to the crowd he said how lucky they were to have such a place to watch and play live music and said he wished he had a similar place to go to when he was younger and starting out.
A guest described the star as "a very down to earth guy."
Also on the bill were bands Electric and The Hungry Ghosts.
