A CHILD acting star from St Augustine's School will appear in a new sci-fi series billed as ITV's big-budget answer to Doctor Who.
Jack Montgomery, 14, will appear in the first episode of Primeval, in which scientists investigate the sudden appearance of prehistoric creatures caused by a series of rips in time.
Jack (pictured) has already appeared in a number of West-End shows, including Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and the new show hits the screens next month.
Paul Farr, assistant principal at St Augustine's, said: "We're incredibly proud of Jack and of all his achievements.
"Despite all that he has done and all of his talents, he remains completely grounded and is just a normal member of the school."
