NEW wave legend John Taylor recently paid a visit to Redditch's Death Or Glory Records in the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
The musician, best known as the bass guitarist and co-founder of Duran Duran, came into the shop to meet local bands and offer advice and support at the store's regular band forum meeting.
Steve Hadley, owner of Death or Glory Records, said: "John was brilliant, charming and funny.
"What's more he really wants to support the shop and what we are trying to achieve."
Since the store opened earlier this year it has done much more than just sell records.
It has supported numerous local bands and performers by selling their albums, supported local artists by displaying and selling their work, and put on events for people wanting to get involved in music journalism and photography.
It has also put on a number of acoustic and full band live shows instore.
