Hear all ye citizens of Alcester; the town's fish, flesh, bread and leather will be tested to check if it is good enough for the good townsfolk at the Court Leet's annual assizes.
The tradition, which dates back more than 700 years, sees the town's Court Leet visit various shops where members will make sure the goods that are being sold are fit for the people of Alcester to buy.
The event will start from St Nicholas Church at 10.30am on Saturday, May 3 and all are welcome to witness the colourful spectacle and maybe even try some of the wares tested.
