WATER levels have risen again on the River Avon with the Environment Agency issuing flood alerts on the sections toward Bidford and from Salford Priors.
Both sections of the river were on flood alert over the New Year, but the level of the Avon had dropped and seemed to be falling.
However heavy rain over the weekend saw the river leading into Bidford rise to 1.17 metres before starting to fall very slowly on Monday, January 27.
The section of the Avon between Salford Priors and Tewkesbury was measuring from two metres to 2.38 metres with low lying areas susceptible to flooding.
