EVENTS across the nation are taking place to celebrate 100 years of Brownies.
Studley Brownies celebrated the launch of the celebrations with a district party.
A huge banner had been created and a 1914 style party was held. Members dressed up in a traditional style of the time, and Brownie uniforms through the ages were also worn. They enjoyed games and a tea party.
A special service of thanks took place at the Parish Centre Studley.
Big Brownie Birthday events are taking place every month from January to July, including a space centre sleepover, centenary way walk, alien disco, county revels with up to 1,500 attending, and glam camping.
A Big Brownie Birthday Bingo event will take place on February 18 together with a Big Birthday Show on April 5, sponsored by Warwickshire County Council's Community Fund. For more details, call 01527 857277.
