REDDITCH families are invited to enjoy some real scarecrow fun at Forge Mill Needle Museum.

On Wednesday and Thursday, August 21 and 23, there are scarecow making activities at the museum from 11am to 3pm. People should bring along some old clothes for their creations and the cost is £3 for materials. No booking is required.

While there, people can make a scarecrow to enter into a competition which will be judged by the mayor of Redditch on Scarecrow Day, which takes place on Sunday, August 25 from 11am until 4pm.

People will be able to meet a whole host of scarecrow characters, as well as making their own to be judged in the competition.

There will also be children’s activities, face painting, pony rides, scarecrow dancers, music, and much more.

Entry to Scarecrow Day is free and there is also reduced entry into the museum, including the spectacular dinosaur display, of £2 for adults and £1 for children.
