RESIDENTS can get up-to-date with council news as the latest edition of Redditch Matters is now live on the council’s website.

The Redditch Council magazine is produced three times a year to keep residents informed on some of the projects the authority has been working on.

The new summer edition includes features on the now up-and-running crematorium project, welfare reform myth busters, how to apply for community grants and much more.

Councillor Bill Hartnett, council leader, said: “The financial pressures on local government have so far shown no signs of easing up but that hasn’t stopped Redditch Council from pulling out all the stops improving services and still making big cost-saving changes.

“The online edition of Redditch Matters allows us to keep you informed of such changes and save money on printing costs. We can’t do it without your help though so please subscribe, recommend us to a friend or family member and follow our updates on Twitter and Facebook. I hope you enjoy this edition.”

The magazine can be viewed at www.redditchmatters.org.uk.

Residents who do not have access to the internet at home can use computers in other public areas, such as the library, to access the council’s website.
