AN inquest into the death of a Redditch man who jumped from a bridge has been closed, with an open verdict given.
Richard Need, 47, from Marlpool Drive, jumped from the road bridge over the A448 Bromsgrove to Redditch Highway on July 9 last year.
He sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The medical cause of death was given as multiple injuries.
The coroner recorded an open verdict.
