YMCA Worcestershire, Sure Start Redditch and Church Hill Big Local are working in partnership to provide a community day for residents on Saturday, August 10 from 10am-2pm.
Sure Start Redditch and YMCA Worcestershire will be providing the fun, with nail painting and messy play, a bouncy castle and a penalty shoot just a few of the activities on offer. A delicious pig roast is being provided by Church Hill Big Local. There will also be lots of stalls to look at too.
The day will also provide an opportunity for local people to come along and meet the staff to find out more about what services and activities are available for them at The Redditch Children’s Centres, YMCA Worcestershire and Church Hill Big Local.
Louise Hall, Sure Start spokesman, said “It’s great to be joint working with local organisations to provide such an exciting day for families. Community spirit runs very high in Church Hill and surrounding areas so it is a great opportunity for families to meet us and for us to meet them.”
The YMCA will also be doing safety checks on residents’ bikes at the event.
